About the Role
Our client a Defense Sector manufacturer supporting American defense through advanced manufacturing and precision inspection. Our work supports mission-critical aerospace and propulsion programs, and we are seeking a Quality Technician to help maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and documentation.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on visual and dimensional inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and comfort working with inspection tools and digital systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform in-process and final visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured components
Create and complete inspection documents for quality verification
Collect, record, scan, and upload inspection data into a digital quality system
Review inspection requirements prior to job kick-off meetings
Participate in job kick-off meetings and provide quality feedback
Communicate with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to report and resolve quality issues
Create Certificates of Conformance (C of C) for customer shipments when required
Maintain and calibrate quality tools such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring instruments
Keep inspection stations clean, organized, and audit-ready
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with visual and dimensional inspection
Hands-on experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams
