We have been asked by a client in Kokomo, IN to help them find a Part-Time Administrative Specialist to work 30 hours per week. In this role you will serve as the professional face of the company—greeting visitors, supporting front-desk operations, and providing key administrative assistance that gives time back to senior accounting and leadership team members. You will play an important part in a growing, team-oriented environment where flexibility, professionalism, and a willingness to pitch in are valued.

Pay, Hours & Benefits

  • Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
  • Hours/Shift: Monday–Friday, approximately 6 hours/day (8:00 AM–2:30 PM or 9:00 AM–3:30 PM)
  • This is a Temporary-to-Hire Job

What will you do as an Administrative Specialist?

  • Greet and assist all visitors with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently
  • Provide administrative support for multiple departments, including operations, accounting, HR, and IT
  • Perform administrative tasks including electronic filing, data entry, scanning, and mail distribution
  • Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed
  • Ensure the front desk and reception area are clean, organized, and presentable
  • Support company culture by being collaborative, adaptable, and willing to pitch in
  • Follow all company policies and procedures

What qualifications will you have as an Administrative Specialist?

  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented, “all for one” culture
  • Professional demeanor suitable for greeting high-level visitors
  • Ability to adapt in a growing, evolving environment
  • Comfortable with a business-casual dress code, maintaining a polished and professional appearance
