Position Overview

The Office Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment in office and common areas. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning procedures to ensure all assigned areas are kept neat and sanitary.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, restrooms, break areas, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and carpets
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
• Clean windows, glass, and mirrors
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and light switches
• Restock restroom and breakroom supplies
• Report any maintenance or safety issues
• Follow safety and cleaning procedures
• Lock and secure building areas as needed (if working after hours)

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and a possibility of some light lifting
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to pass applicable background screening (if required)

Schedule

• Flexible shifts may be available, including day, evening, or overnight depending on the worksite

Compensation

• Hourly pay is typically based on experience
