Social Media & Digital Content Specialist (Ocala, FL)

Full-Time | $18+/hour BOE
Regular Schedule: M-F 7:30am-3pm (but project hours will vary and if there is a pour at 1am, we would need you there for that)

We are seeking a creative, organized, and tech-savvy Social Media & Digital Content Specialist to join our team in Ocala. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys capturing real-world content, managing digital platforms, and telling a company’s story through engaging visuals and messaging.

This position requires flexibility. Our operations don’t always follow a 7am–5pm schedule—if a pour or major project occurs outside normal hours, this role will be expected to capture on-site photos, videos, and drone footage as needed.

Job Summary

The Social Media & Digital Content Specialist is responsible for managing and updating the company website, creating photo and video content (including drone footage), and maintaining our presence across multiple social media platforms. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Management: Update, maintain, and manage the company website, including uploading photos, videos, blogs, and other content as needed

  • Content Creation: Capture high-quality photos and videos of products, plant operations, job sites, and company events

  • Drone Operations: Operate a drone to capture aerial photos and videos when required and permitted

  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and publish content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Video & Photo Editing: Edit content for social media, website use, and marketing materials

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital content aligns with company branding, voice, and messaging

  • Engagement & Growth: Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages as needed, and assist in growing our online presence

  • Marketing Support: Assist with promotional campaigns, product launches, trade shows, and special events

Qualifications

  • Experience managing company websites and social media accounts

  • Strong photography and videography skills with attention to detail

  • Experience with photo and video editing tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar)

  • Comfortable learning new systems and software

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Clear, professional communication skills

  • Previous experience in marketing, social media, or digital content creation is a plus

Additional Information

  • Schedule may vary and include early mornings, late nights, or occasional weekends based on project needs

  • Familiarity with construction, manufacturing, or precast concrete industries is a plus, but not required

  • This role offers potential for expanded responsibilities based on performance and initiative

  • Pay: $18+/hour, based on experience
