Salary: $16.00-$20.00 BOE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician with hands-on experience in Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) to support, maintain, and secure our client’s environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to users, manage identity and access systems, and assist with cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Operations

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and user connectivity problems
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Document issues, solutions, and procedures in the IT ticketing system

Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)

  • Manage users, groups, and devices in Microsoft Entra
  • Configure and maintain user authentication, access policies, and permissions
  • Support Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Assist with device enrollment (Entra ID / Intune) and conditional access policies
  • Monitor identity security and respond to access-related incidents

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services

  • Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Assist with user onboarding/offboarding and license management
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on cloud migrations and improvements

Security & Compliance

  • Follow IT security best practices and company policies
  • Assist with patching, updates, and endpoint security
  • Help maintain compliance with data protection and access control standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working as an IT Technician, Helpdesk Technician, or similar role
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and basic networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
  • Basic knowledge of PowerShell
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, AZ-900, SC-300)
  • Experience in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments

Work Environment

  • Full-time, Office (In-Person), M-F 8:30am to 5pm
  • May require occasional after-hours support or system maintenance
