Salary: $20-25/HR DOE

Maintenance Tech Job Summary: A graphics and printing company in Grand Rapids is looking for a Senior Maintenance Tech for performing routine maintenance and timely repairs on equipment and the building.

 

Maintenance Tech Requirements: 

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues while maintaining accurate repair logs and schedules
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Conduct preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce repair costs.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with regulatory requirement
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and manage inventory of necessary parts and materials.
• Collaborate with management and team members to communicate equipment status, repair timelines, and maintenance plans.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest modifications to enhance equipment performance and reliability

Schedule and Pay: 

• 1st Shift 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed
• $20-25/hr 

Maintenance Tech Qualifications:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical repairs, fabrication, or maintenance work.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and rebuild rides, attractions, and other mechanical systems.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to work independently and think critically to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Committed to ensuring safety, reliability, and quality in all maintenance tasks
• Basic computer skills
