Salary: $25.75/hour

We are seeking a CWB Welder to join our client in the steel manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics with valid CWB tickets.

Shift: Monday to Friday rotates every 2 weeks

(MUST BE ABLE TO ROTATE BETWEEN ALL SHIFTS INCLUDING DAYS 6AM-2PM, AFTERNOON 2PM - 10PM, AND NIGHT SHIFT 10PM -6AM)

Pay: $25.75/hour

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, Stick welding, and TIG welding on metal components according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Operate plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and hand tools to shape and assemble parts
• Rigging materials and set up welding stations safely and efficiently
• Use calipers, measuring tapes, and basic math skills to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for assembly and fabrication tasks
• Utilize power tools and welding equipment following safety protocols
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety standards at all times

Experience

• Proven experience and verifiable references from previous employment in MIG welding, TIG welding, Stick welding plasma cutting, and general fabrication within manufacturing or construction environments
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and use of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards
• Valid CWB certification and verifiable references from previous employment is required
