Title: Diesel Parts Associate
Pay: $15–$18/hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Shreveport, LA
A well-established diesel mechanic shop in Shreveport is seeking a reliable and motivated Diesel Parts Associate. This role is critical to daily shop operations and offers strong long-term growth and advancement opportunities for the right candidate.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally
Invoice customers accurately and efficiently
Look up diesel parts using electronic catalogs and supplier systems
Pull, stage, and deliver parts to mechanics in the shop
Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure correct parts are supplied
Maintain an organized parts area and assist with inventory as needed
Valid driver’s license required
At least 1 year of experience or exposure to diesel parts, diesel mechanics, or related work
Working knowledge of diesel components and terminology preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills for invoicing and parts lookup
Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
Full-time, stable weekday schedule
