Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our food production warehouse team in the Chester, PA area. This role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure all food products meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with quality control technology, and the ability to work in a cold warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily quality control operations within the food production warehouse

• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards

• Oversee inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods

• Train, mentor, and evaluate quality control staff

• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation

• Identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with production, sanitation, and management teams to resolve quality concerns

• Monitor and utilize quality control technology and systems effectively

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in quality control within a food production or manufacturing environment

• Prior supervisory or management experience required

• Strong knowledge of quality control technologies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a cold storage/warehouse environment for extended periods

• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Chester, PA area

• Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
