Our client in Des Moines, IA is looking for a CDL A - Lowboy Trailer Driver!

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to operate a lowboy trailer for transporting heavy equipment and materials. This position requires a strong understanding of safe hauling practices, proper load securement, and compliance with all DOT regulations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in handling oversized or heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a CDL A vehicle with a lowboy trailer to transport heavy equipment
• Safely load, secure, and unload materials and machinery
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation records

Qualifications:
• Valid CDL A license required
• Experience operating a lowboy trailer preferred
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Ability to safely secure and transport heavy/oversized loads
• Good driving record and reliability
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Hours:
Full-time; schedule may vary based on delivery routes and workload

Pay:
$20.00+/hour DOE
