Our client in Des Moines, IA is looking for a CDL-A Driver!

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL-A Driver to join a growing team. This position is responsible for safely transporting materials to customer locations, maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, and providing exceptional service throughout the delivery process. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns as needed.
• Transport materials to customer locations while maintaining delivery schedules and ensuring load security.
• Verify shipment accuracy and maintain all required delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding deliveries and route changes.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and report accidents, incidents, or equipment issues immediately.

Qualifications:
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement requirements preferred.

Hours:
• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
• Home Daily

Pay:
• Based on experience - $22-$24 DOE
