Position Overview: As a Warehouse/Yard Worker, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse and yard. This position requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, capable of lifting heavy objects, adheres to safety protocols, and possesses strong numerical skills.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.

Position Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:15AM-4:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming equipment and materials.
• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment.
• Operate hand trucks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any damages or malfunctions.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse or construction environment preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.
• Capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills with the ability to count accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
