We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to manage billing and collections for healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on medical billing experience, with chiropractic billing knowledge considered a strong plus. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on medical claims to insurance carriers in a timely and accurate manner
• Handle chiropractic billing processes, including CPT, ICD-10, and modifier usage (preferred)
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements
• Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately
• Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments
• Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries, balances, and payment arrangements (English & Spanish)
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer regulations
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping within billing systems

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a Medical Biller in a healthcare setting
• Chiropractic medical billing experience strongly preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong knowledge of medical coding, insurance guidelines, and billing procedures
• Experience with EHR/EMR and medical billing software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
