Location: Middleburg Heights, OH Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Industrial Service Technician to perform industrial battery maintenance and service, including power systems used in forklifts and material handling equipment, out of our Middleburg Heights location. This role is well-suited for candidates with a basic electrical and mechanical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in industrial environments.
Perform maintenance and service on industrial batteries and forklift power systems
Conduct basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Use a multi-meter to perform electrical testing and diagnostics
Take battery voltage and gravity readings
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams
Work independently and manage service tasks with minimal supervision
Travel as needed using a company vehicle (good driving record required)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
Ability to safely use a basic multi-meter
Ability to work alone and be a self-starter
Comfortable working in industrial and warehouse environments
The following skills are not mandatory, but are considered an asset:
Experience with industrial or forklift battery systems
Basic electrical/electronic experience with 120V single-phase to 480V three-phase AC voltage
Knowledge of AC to DC rectification
Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics
Understanding of lead-acid battery operation
Experience taking battery voltage and specific gravity readings
Basic mechanical experience
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
This position offers a stable weekday schedule, hands-on technical work, and independence while supporting critical industrial battery and material handling equipment.
