A local manufacturing company is seeking a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for the office. This is a full-time opportunity with a well-established company. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling incoming calls and visitors, coordinating mail and deliveries, and providing general administrative support to internal departments.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Transfer calls to appropriate associates or voicemail when unavailable
Greet and direct visitors, vendors, and limited guests
Take and relay messages accurately
Provide callers with company information (address, directions, website, fax, etc.)
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies
Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, and document preparation
Maintain office organization and supply inventory
Support office staff and internal departments with administrative tasks as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 years of receptionist or front desk office experience (same company)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Positive attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail
