A well-established, locally owned tax practice in Central Illinois is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer to join its team for the upcoming tax season. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior tax prep experience who enjoys working with clients in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare individual tax returns

• Review client financial documents for accuracy and completeness

• Identify tax-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal and Illinois regulations

• Communicate with clients regarding tax filings and requirements

• Utilize professional tax preparation software

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience preparing tax returns (professional or seasonal)

• Knowledge of federal and Illinois tax regulations

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple returns during peak season

• Client-focused with clear communication skills
