Salary: $90K-$120K plus commission
Our client, a leading specialty food manufacturer, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow sales across key U.S. territories. You’ll drive new business with multi-unit restaurant groups, broadline distributors, and specialty distributors while representing two premium product lines: authentic Latino specialty foods and upscale hors d’oeuvres. This is a remote role with extensive travel and high autonomy.
Develop and grow territory sales across assigned regions
Secure new business with multi-unit restaurant groups and food distributors
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
Present full product portfolio, including private-label capabilities
Manage long, complex B2B sales cycles
Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account updates
Proven success in business development or outside sales
Experience in food manufacturing, specialty foods, or foodservice distribution preferred
Strong background selling to multi-unit restaurant groups and/or distributors
Deep understanding of foodservice distribution channels
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
Ability to travel up to 75%
