Woodworker / Painter – Conversion Varnish ExpertSheffield, IAStarting at $19/hour – Pay Based on Experience
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (Fridays as needed during busy weeks)
We’re looking for a skilled Woodworker/Painter to join a high-end shop specializing in custom frames and cabinetry. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, strives for perfection, and knows how to deliver a flawless finish every time.
What You’ll Do:
Prep, sand, and finish wood pieces to exact specifications
Apply conversion varnish and other finishing products with precision
Assemble, inspect, and touch up frames and cabinets as needed
Maintain clean, organized work areas and handle materials safely
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with conversion varnish is a must
Proven background in woodworking, painting, or cabinetry finishing
Keen eye for detail and craftsmanship
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing things right the first time
