• Safe Operation: Drive and maneuver a specialized mixer truck (manual transmission) to loading and unloading positions at concrete plants and job sites.
• Load Management: Monitor the concrete mixture during transport, adjusting the drum rotation (agitation) to maintain proper liquid state and consistency.
• On-Site Delivery: Assemble and position discharge chutes (often weighing 40–60 lbs) to precisely pour concrete as requested by site supervisors.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
• Cleanliness: Thoroughly wash the truck, drum, and chutes after each delivery to prevent concrete hardening and maintain a professional equipment appearance.

• Licensing: Valid CDL Class A license is required.
• Transmission Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle (shifting gears requires coordination of hands and feet).
• Physical Demands: Must be able to climb truck ladders multiple times daily, lift up to 60 lbs, and work on uneven or muddy terrain in various weather conditions.
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.

• Prior experience driving a concrete mixer or similar heavy liquid-hauling equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues on-site.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
