Manual Machinist (A2050)

Salary: $18.00 Hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Manual Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual machines, including mills, grinders, band saws, and band grinders, to produce parts to precise specifications. This is a 1st shift position with some flexibility available. $18/hr 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machining equipment such as mills, grinders, band saws, and band grinders

• Measure and inspect machined components to ensure they meet required specifications

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working with tight tolerances

• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning

• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with manual machining or demonstrated mechanical aptitude preferred

• Ability to use inspection tools and read measurements accurately

• Capable of standing for 6 to 8 hours per shift

• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds

Shift Information:

• Full-time position on 1st shift

• Some scheduling flexibility may be accommodated as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing

• Repetitive motion tasks

• Lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
