Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Professional Chef to prepare high-quality cuisine that complements wine offerings and enhances the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate brings a strong culinary background, an appreciation for wine pairings, and the ability to execute refined dishes in a winery or hospitality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute seasonal menus designed to pair with winery wines

  • Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion standards

  • Collaborate with winery management and tasting room staff to support events, tastings, and private functions

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

  • Manage prep, service flow, and kitchen organization during service hours and special events

  • Monitor product freshness, inventory levels, and minimize food waste

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional kitchen environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a chef or cook in a winery, restaurant, catering, or hospitality setting

  • Knowledge of wine-friendly cuisine and basic food-and-wine pairing principles

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a small kitchen environment

  • Must own and maintain personal professional chef tools, including knives and essential culinary equipment

  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and special winery events
