Job Summary

The Stand-Up Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a stand-up (reach/ride) forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory movement and timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift (reach, dock stocker, or order picker) efficiently and safely

• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas

• Move products to designated warehouse locations

• Stack and organize pallets in high-reach racking systems

• Perform inventory checks and verify product counts

• Assist with order picking and staging shipments

• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues

• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse protocols

• Keep work area clean and organized

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of stand-up forklift experience required

• Forklift certification preferred (can be provided if needed)

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills

• Ability to work independently and with a team

• Must follow safety rules like it's your love language

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting

• May include cold storage or outdoor dock areas (if applicable)

• Standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery throughout shifts
