Assembler – Warehouse / Production (Heavy Assembly & Measurement Skills Required)

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Skilled Assemblers for a warehouse-based production environment. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates who are mechanically inclined, comfortable with heavy lifting, and experienced working with precision tools and measurements.

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals with strong tenure in their work history — ideally 2 or more years in previous roles — who can consistently produce quality work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

As an Assembler, your daily duties will include:

Assembling products and components according to specifications, drawings, or work instructions.
Using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to ensure proper fit, alignment, and tolerances.
Operating hand and power tools such as drills, impacts, saws, grinders, and torque tools.
Performing heavy lifting up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
Operating Sit-Down and Stand-Up forklifts to move materials as needed (experience preferred).
Performing quality checks on assembled items to ensure accuracy and workmanship.
Identifying defects or assembly issues and communicating with leads or supervisors.
Assisting with packaging, staging, and material handling when required.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
Following all warehouse safety policies and production standards.

Requirements

Assembly experience required in a warehouse or production environment.
Strong understanding of measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers).
Proficiency using hand and power tools.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently and perform physical work all shift.
Forklift experience (Sit-Down and Stand-Up) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Tenured work history preferred (2+ years in prior roles ideal).
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Skills & Qualifications

Shifts & Hours

Full-time schedule
1st and/or 2nd shift opportunities available depending on facility needs
Overtime may be available based on production demands
