Express Employment Professionals of Ithaca is seeking qualified Shipping/Receiving Leads for our busy clients within the Cortland area.  The Shipping/Receiving Leads will be primarily responsible for overseeing the shipments of all incoming and outgoing products. This process will include but is not limited to, preparing precise inventory reports while noting any shortages or damages, communicating with carriers and vendors to ensure successful shipments of all products, matching received products to sales orders, providing strong administrative support to the rest of the Operations team and other duties as assigned. Full-time hours and additional incentives available. 

Qualifications:

• 1 - 3 years of Shipping and Receiving experience is the most preferred
• Strong computer skills including the ability to input information into databases (Excel experience preferred)
• Great attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, inventory logs, and other applicable paperwork
• Mathematical skills required as this position may include calculation of invoices, measuring/weighing of products, and keeping track of large product inventories
• Experience operating mechanical equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and/or hand trucks
