Delivery Driver – Furniture Setup & Assembly (Non-CDL)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering furniture to residential and commercial locations, with hands-on setup and assembly upon arrival. Ideal candidates will have experience in delivery driving, basic assembly skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver furniture and related items
• Load and unload products using hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment
• Assemble and set up furniture at delivery sites according to specifications
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Follow assigned delivery routes and meet scheduled deadlines
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
• Experience with furniture delivery or similar hands-on delivery roles preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

Compensation:

• Starting pay: $18/hour
• Pay increase after 30 days based on performance
• Full-time schedule with potential for overtime
