About the Role

As a Case Coordinator, you will manage a caseload of approximately 300–400 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participants, helping ensure program compliance, continued eligibility, and successful housing stability. Working in accordance with HUD regulations and HAJC policies, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing annual and interim recertifications to determine rental assistance amounts and ongoing eligibility

• Assisting tenants and landlords throughout the leasing, move-in, and voucher portability processes

• Reviewing and investigating potential fraud, calculating overpayments, and processing voucher terminations as required

• Acting as a reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate point of contact for families navigating public housing programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field

• Prior experience in case management, housing programs, social services, or working with vulnerable populations

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to effectively manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and empathy

• Proficiency in documentation and basic office software applications
