Production & Craftsmanship
Construction of custom cabinets, millwork, and related wood products from drawings and specifications
Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and CAD files accurately
Select appropriate materials, hardware, and finishes for each project
Perform complex joinery, assembly, sanding, and finishing as needed
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
Responsibilities
Assist other cabinet makers and apprentices in daily shop operations
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor workflow to meet production deadlines
Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to improve skill levels
Conduct quality checks throughout the build process
Project Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and installers to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Identify and resolve production issues before they impact schedules
Track project progress and communicate updates or concerns to leadership
Shop Operations & Safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Ensure proper use and maintenance of shop tools and machinery
Enforce safety protocols and company policies at all times
