The Specialized Recruiting Group of Olympia is now hiring a temporary HR Director for a non-profit based out of Olympia, WA. This is temporary, fill-in position that is due through April 2026. The schedule will be Monday through Friday day shift, in office. The compensation for this position will be $30.00-$33.00/hr DOE.

Job Duties:

Supervise and support the 3 HR department staff (1 trainer, 1 recruiter, 1 HR assistant)
Process employee record changes in Paycom
Support payroll processing
Review performance discussions and provide coaching to supervisors if needed
Handle employee issues or investigations if necessary
Processes unemployment claims, protected leave requests including FMLA, Washington Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML), workers compensation claims
Handle accommodation requests
Any other special projects assigned by the CFO

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources or equivalent.
Knowledge and professional experience in planning and policy, talent management, selection, compensation, benefits, training and staff development, employee relations, and performance management
4+ years of professional experience in all aspects of human resources management and staff development and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
