Part-time Line Cook

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a part-time Line Cook to add to our client’s team; a local hotel offering a modern, upscale environment with free coffee, lunch, and opportunities to learn! If you are an experienced line cook looking to supplement your income by picking up extra shifts, this is the opportunity for you!

Line Cook Job Highlights:

• Schedule: Part-time, 5am-1pm OR 3pm-11pm, 2-3 days a week.

Line Cook Job Summary:

As a part-time Line Cook, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining stocked stations, preparing breakfast and brunch on the morning shift, or dinner on the evening shift. You will also be responsible for clean up and restocking at the end of your shift. This is a great position for a cook who is looking for some extra hours, or someone looking for a strictly part-time cook job.

Line Cook Job Duties:

• Assisting with stocking and setting up kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting ingredients, using knives and other kitchen equipment
• Cooking main dishes, desserts, and appetizers for breakfast and brunch or dinner, depending on the shift
• Washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen equipment during and at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that kitchen operation and hygiene procedures meet food safety standards and regulations

Line Cook Qualifications:

• 1+ year prior experience as a line cook or chef in a fast paced, restaurant environment
• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Flexibility to work weekends if needed to support events
