Our client is seeking a temporary QA Specialist/Lead Investigator!

 

The QA Associate, Lead Investigator is responsible for coordinating investigations and documenting calibration, equipment, facility, blending, filling, packaging, validation failures and deviations from procedures. Investigation for nonconformance events such as deviations, complaints, and out of specifications.  This person will work cross-functionally with Operations and various support groups to facilitate investigate root causes, implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) for nonconformance events such as deviations, complaints, and out of specifications (OOOS, and perform product impact assessments. 

 

Required Skills

• PC proficient (knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel).
• Knowledge of FDA Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Regulations pertaining to medical devices, OTC, dietary supplements, and ISO standards.
• Proven analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and trouble-shooting skills.
• Technical writing skills

Prefered Skills

• CAPA: 5 years
• Knowledgeable of cGMP regulatory requirements: 5 years
• Strong background in root cause analysis, problem-solving and CAPAs
• Experience using Quality management Systems (e.g. QAD, Veeva, Trackwise).

Education

• High school diploma/GED with 10+ years Quality and/or Manufacturing experience.
• Associate’s degree with 8+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering with 5+ years Quality and/or Manufacturing experience
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 3+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 3 months
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a - 4:30pm
• Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr
• Location: Onsite (no hybrid or remote options)
