Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Toolmaker–Machine Operator to support the design, creation, modification, and operation of tooling and precision parts. This role combines CNC machining, hands-on toolmaking, and creative problem-solving to support production and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, and related operations

• Program and modify CNC programs using Mastercam and AGE software

• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications

• Convert design concepts into finished tooling or parts using manual and CNC machines

• Diagnose, repair, and modify worn or damaged tools to support design changes

• Perform hand fitting, polishing, and assembly of complex tool components

• Inspect finished tools and components using precision measurement instruments

• Perform daily machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure proper operation

• Provide feedback on tool design for manufacturability and efficiency

• Collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and production teams

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process-related issues

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or Toolmaker

• Strong proficiency with Mastercam and AGE programming software

• Skilled in operating CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measuring devices

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and documentation

• Strong mechanical aptitude with solid math skills

• Creative problem-solver with the ability to generate new ideas and improvements

• Comfortable with hand work, detailed assembly, and fine finishing tasks

• Computer savvy with a strong understanding of CNC programming

• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, push, and pull throughout the shift
