Job Description

We are hiring a dependable and motivated Garage Door Installer / Technician to service the Lubbock, TX area. This position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial garage door systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, basic electrical knowledge, and takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install new garage doors, openers, tracks, springs, and related hardware

• Diagnose and repair issues with garage doors, operators, cables, rollers, and photo eyes

• Perform preventative maintenance on door and opener systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical problems

• Test door balance, safety features, and opener operation

• Maintain a clean and safe worksite

• Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and recommendations

• Complete work orders and documentation accurately

Qualifications

• Previous garage door installation or repair experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)

• Strong mechanical aptitude; basic electrical knowledge is a plus

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions

• Familiarity with hand and power tools

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude

Preferred (Not Required)

• Residential and/or commercial garage door experience

• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
