Accounts Payable Specialist – Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Oldsmar, FL

Join a dynamic team in Oldsmar, FL! Our company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor payments, invoice processing, and material receiving using Solomon Accounting Software. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

  • Process vendor invoices and check requests from HR Manager, Comptroller, and President.
  • Verify account codes, divisions, locations, and cutoff periods to ensure accurate posting.
  • Review invoices against purchase orders and packing slips; resolve discrepancies with Purchasing Specialist.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for paid, unpaid, posted, and unposted invoices.
  • Reconcile vendor statements monthly; follow up on missing documents and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and manage recurring vendor payment schedules and contract files.
  • Assist Comptroller with vendor statement reconciliations and weekly invoice reviews.
  • Pull and reconcile invoices for scheduled check runs (1st, 10th, and 20th of each month).

Material Receiving & Administrative Support

  • Support material receiving functions and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Accounts PayableInvoice Processing, and Vendor Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Solomon Accounting Software (or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
