Express is partnering with a thriving steel fabrication and manufacturing company headquartered in Piedmont, South Carolina. Founded in 1986, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality structural steel fabrication, project management, detailing, and preconstruction services to clients across the United States.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding using MIG, Flux-Core, and/or Stick processes on structural steel

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols

• Fit, tack, and weld steel components such as beams, columns, plates, and assemblies

• Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and hand tools safely

• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with AWS and company quality standards

• Work closely with fitters, supervisors, and quality control teams

• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with OSHA regulations

• Meet production schedules while maintaining accuracy and quality

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in structural steel or heavy industrial welding

• Ability to pass weld tests as required

• Strong knowledge of welding procedures and safety practices

• Experience working in a fabrication shop environment

• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pay depends on experience:
$20-$25
