Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our organization, ensuring exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Phone Management: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, direct calls to appropriate staff members, and take accurate messages
• Patient Check-In: Greet and register patients upon arrival, verify appointment details, and guide them through initial paperwork
• Records Management: Maintain organized patient files and records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
• Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments
• Filing: Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for efficient document retrieval
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients/clients, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• 1-2 years of receptionist or customer service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized software programs
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with medical/dental office operations preferred
