We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse/Material Handler to join our client’s team. This position plays a key role in warehouse operations including picking and packing orders, receiving inventory, organizing stock, and operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment & Inventory Handling:

• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment based on customer requirements.
• Receive incoming inventory, inspect shipments for damage, verify packing lists, and enter data into inventory systems.
• Label, sort, and organize products in the warehouse for efficient access and rotation.

Forklift & Equipment Operation:

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory within the warehouse and to/from trucks.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring materials are secured and transported without damage.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs promptly.

General Warehouse Duties:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following housekeeping procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet shipping and receiving schedules and resolve any issues or delays.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
• Attend and participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Promptly report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling roles.
• Valid forklift certification or demonstrable forklift operating experience.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems or inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varying warehouse conditions.
