Forklift Operator
Located in Sarnia, ON
Salary: $24.00/Hour
We are currently assisting with recruitment of an experienced Forklift Operator. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize products within a warehouse, manufacturing facility, or distribution center. This role supports efficient material flow while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas
- Move products to designated locations such as racks, shelves, and staging areas
- Ensure materials are handled accurately and efficiently
- Perform routine equipment checks and reports any issues or safety concerns
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Previous forklift operating experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Strong hand-eye coordination and good depth perception
- Commitment to workplace safety and reliability
Wage: $24.00/Hour
