A Toledo company is looking for a Weld Supervisor 

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Scheduling: Develop and implement production scheduled, assign daily tasks, and monitor output to meet deadlines. 
• Organization: Must be able to manage and organize multiple projects to meet deadlines and daily goals
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, coach and mentor fabrication personnel, fostering a positive work environment and managing performance.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards, blueprints, and requirements through inspections and process adherence. 
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental policies, conduct safety talks, and maintain a clean shop.
• Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on welding and cutting of weldments and sub-assemblies. Interpret complex drawings as well as manage shop manpower.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost productivity. 

 

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven supervisory experience in metal fabrication/welding

Technical Knowledge: Strong welding, cutting, blueprint reading, and assembly skills.

Leadership: Excellent communication, organization, problem solving, and team motivation abilities
