Position Summary: The Insurance Service Representative (ISR) provides high-quality customer service by assisting clients with policy inquiries, coverage changes, billing questions, and general insurance support. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers and supports account managers and agents to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant service.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound calls, emails, and walk-in clients regarding insurance policies
Assist customers with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations
Answer questions related to coverage, premiums, billing, and claims procedures
Accurately enter and update client information in agency management systems
Process certificates of insurance and other policy documentation as requested
Escalate complex issues to licensed agents or management when necessary
Maintain compliance with company procedures and insurance regulations
Deliver professional, courteous, and timely customer service
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous customer service experience required; insurance experience preferred
Property & Casualty experience or licensing is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with computers and standard office software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
