Accounts Payable Manager

Scott, LA | Full-Time | $27–$31/Hr. DOE

 

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our accounting team in Lafayette, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments. Strong vendor communication skills are essential for this role.

 

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday | 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor communications and maintain strong working relationships

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely, accurate vendor payments

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records in accordance with accounting standards

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure outstanding invoices are paid on time

• Manage the accounts payable email inbox and respond professionally to inquiries

• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks for signature

• Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of accounts payable experience

• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite accounting software preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of accounts payable accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with electronic payment processing a plus

 

Pay:
$27–$31 per hour, depending on experience
