Position Title: Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Clerk

Location: Indian Trail, NC

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm 

 

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Clerk to join our team. This position will initially combine shipping/receiving and inventory responsibilities until production increases, at which point the roles may be separated. The ideal candidate will work closely with the company’s co-owner to develop and implement a new inventory management system.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the co-owner to build and organize the inventory system.

• Label and organize shelves, assigning and entering location numbers into the new online system.

• Receive incoming shipments (primarily airplane parts) and verify accuracy of deliveries.

• Log received parts into the system and ensure they are routed appropriately for diagnostic evaluation by bench mechanics.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.

• Support general warehouse organization and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with basic computer programs and data entry.

• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a start-up or process-building environment.
