Schedule: MondayFriday, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM (On-call work orders may occur)
Pay: $27.00$28.00hr + shift differential
Training: 1st shift for approximately 2 weeks
Tools: Provided by company

Position Overview:
Fiber Glass Manufacture in Newberry is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support their manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial machinery and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Ideal candidates will have hands-on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and welding experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues involving mechanical components, electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding needs.

Troubleshoot and repair:
- PLC-driven systems
- Hydraulic machines
- Conveyors
- Forklifts and industrial equipment
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Respond to on-call maintenance needs as required.
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in welding, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, hydraulic systems, and PLC-based machinery.
- Ability to diagnose and repair industrial machines in a production environment.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Solid understanding of work-order-based maintenance processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and machine schematics (test required prior to interview).
- Mechanical aptitude (mechanical aptitude test required).

Preferred (Not Required):
- Certifications in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or industrial systems.
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience repairing forklifts and conveyor systems.
