The Security Installation Technician will install, configure, and service various electronic security and life-safety systems. Ideal candidates will have experience with low-voltage cabling, troubleshooting, system installation, and customer-facing technical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, CCTV/Video Surveillance, and Fire Protection systems
• Run low-voltage cabling, wiring, and conduit for system connectivity
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics
• Troubleshoot, test, and repair security and fire safety systems
• Maintain accurate documentation including installation reports, service logs, and inventory records
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and installation schedules

Required Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage wiring, cabling, or security system installation
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to resolve system or equipment issues independently
• Technical or vocational training is a plus
• Previous experience in security system installation, alarm installation, or a related field is highly preferred
