A metal component manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and detail-focused professional to support customer service and order management. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate order processing, clear communication with customers, and coordination between production, purchasing, and internal teams. Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Manage customer purchase orders and releases with a high level of accuracy
• Confirm correct part number revisions on all customer orders and within internal systems
• Track and maintain open order reports and communicate status updates with production and purchasing
• Act as a liaison between production, purchasing, and customer service teams
• Enter ASNs on customer portals and communicate shipment details to customers
• Provide backup support for customer service order entry during employee absences
• Assist the quoting department by entering RFQs and sending quotes to customers
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations, samples, literature, new accounts, and related requests
• Provide backup coverage for receptionist duties, including answering incoming calls
• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Customer Service Representative Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience
• Experience with order entry, data entry, and working with customer information
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
• Punctual, dependable, and able to maintain a professional work environment
