warehouse delivery driver is responsible for transporting goods, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient operations within warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport GoodsSafely drive vehicles to deliver products to and from the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Load and UnloadEfficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, maintaining proper handling procedures to prevent damage.
  • Inventory ManagementAssist in maintaining accurate inventory counts, including conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
  • Safety ComplianceAdhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating vehicles and handling materials within the warehouse.
  • CollaborationWork closely with warehouse staff to optimize logistics operations   and improve workflow efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Driving Licensevalid driver's license with clean driving record is essential; commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required for larger vehicles.
  • ExperiencePrevious experience in warehouse or driving role is preferred but not always necessary, especially for entry-level positions.
  • Physical CapabilityAbility to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Communication SkillsStrong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and customers.

Work Environment

  • SettingThe role is primarily based in warehouse environment, which may involve long hours of standing, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Reporting StructureTypically reports to the Warehouse Manager or Logistics Coordinator.
