Electronic Inspector

Located in Upland, CA

Salary: $16.50 to $17.50 DOE

1) The Quality line in process Inspector will perform visual, mechanical inspection, and
electrical inspection if required of pc board/component level electronic assemblies,
subassemblies and main assemblies.

The Inspector will document the inspection and identify non-conforming product.
2) The Quality Line Inspector will check and verify production and inspection
documents such as travelers, inspection work instructions, all inspection documents
revision levels and change level, etc.

3) Board/component level assembly will encompass component identification and
verification (polarity, value, tolerance of component), workmanship, solder
connections, wiring, etc. per approved print.

4) Mechanical inspection will encompass overall workmanship, solder connections,
hardware verification, cosmetics, wire harnessing, component clearance, assembly
sequence, etc.

5) One to two year’s experience in inspection position. Familiarity with electronic parts
and components (color code recognition), board level and mechanical assembly
prints.

6) Some lifting up to 30lbs. Will be required.

7) Use of optical inspection equipment require, microscope and diopter lens.

8) Use of measuring calipers, rules, and other gauges for inspection

9) To s write, peak and understand English language.

 

 

Desired Qualifications (Education & Experience):

 

One or two year’s experience in inspection position at any facility, recognition of electronic
parts and components (color code recognition, wire gauge), pcboard, blueprint reading.
On the job training, will supplement the qualifications as needed.
