About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. This role focuses on tax preparation, compliance, and client support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain flexibility during peak tax season. CPA certification and proficiency with tax software are highly preferred.

Duties

• Prepare and review tax returns in compliance with current tax laws and regulations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax codes and best practices
• Assist clients with inquiries and resolve complex tax scenarios
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tax-related documentation
• Utilize tax preparation software for accurate and timely filings
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines during busy season
• Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and compliance
• Provide guidance on tax-related matters as needed

Requirements

• CPA certification or equivalent accounting qualifications
• Proficiency in tax preparation and compliance
• Experience with Lacerte Tax Software or similar programs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Flexible schedule during peak tax season
