Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Operations Coordinator (with a path to Office Manager) for an established manufacturing company located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $23 per hour. This is a full-time, evaluation-to-hire position on day shift, working Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to start as an Operations Coordinator and grow into the Office Manager position within approximately 18–24 months as the current manager transitions to retirement.


Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Learn and master company-specific methods for order entry, invoicing, filing, and scheduling, which are based on long-standing practices.
  • Provide support to office personnel and outside sales staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Maintain front office attendance records accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist with daily office operations, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and administrative support.
  • Oversee supply management and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
  • Support HR and payroll processes as needed.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of company history, products, and sales methods.
  • Learn and gradually take on office management responsibilities, including supervising staff and managing budgets.
  • Foster a professional and positive work environment by leading through example.
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of office experience in an administrative or operations role.
  • Comfortable working with established processes and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry.
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and take accurate messages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous customer service experience required; manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
