Electrical Control Panel Assembler
Full-Time Position | $17/Hour | 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday–Thursday | Springfield, OH
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Control Panel Assembler to build industrial control panels for custom equipment applications. In this hands-on role, you'll work with electrical schematics and technical specifications to assemble complete control systems from components, ensuring quality and functionality in every panel you build.
Primary Responsibilities
You'll assemble complete control panels starting with empty enclosures, following detailed electrical schematics and work instructions to achieve precise specifications. Your work includes installing and wiring electrical components such as variable frequency drives, contactors, relays, and terminal blocks, performing wire terminations to manufacturer standards, and installing pre-assembled sub-components and modules.
You'll read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical documentation daily, working with diverse electrical systems including 3-phase power, single-phase circuits, and 24V DC control systems. You'll also handle inverter controls, power supply systems, and various industrial electrical components, ensuring all assemblies meet quality standards and functional requirements.
Required Qualifications
Technical Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in electrical control panel assembly or industrial electrical work
- Proficiency reading and following electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Solid understanding of electrical power supply principles and safety practices
- Hands-on experience with 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems
- Working knowledge of 24V DC control circuits
- Familiarity with inverter controls and industrial electrical components
- Competent use of hand tools, crimpers, and assembly equipment

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift and maneuver materials and panels up to 50 pounds regularly, work in both standing and seated positions throughout the shift, and maintain manual dexterity for precision assembly tasks including wire terminations and component installation.
