We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Sandblasting Technician to join our team. This role involves surface preparation using sandblasting or abrasive blasting techniques for industrial, commercial, or residential projects. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and is comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
Perform sandblasting / abrasive blasting to clean, prep, or strip surfaces
Set up and operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards
Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE
Assist with job site setup and cleanup
Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress
Previous sandblasting or industrial labor experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights (as applicable)
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Valid driver’s license preferred
