Express Employment is seeking a detail-oriented college or university student to support the Accounts Payable team for a Distribution Warehouse in Mcallen, TX. This part-time role offers hands-on corporate accounting experience, with additional hours during the first and last weeks of each month to assist with month-end activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and enter vendor invoices, including performing three-way matching
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing tasks
• Communicate with vendors and internal staff regarding invoice and payment issues
• Maintain electronic records, retrieve data from Oracle, and prepare Excel reports

 

Qualifications:

• Current UTRGV student (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism
• Basic Excel skills; Oracle experience is a plus
• Ability to work extra hours during peak periods
